Martin George has a studio-based practice driven by an instinctive, embodied approach to artmaking. He works in the disciplines of expanded painting and drawing, finding meaning in material exploration and play.
During 2026 he is a year-long Artist in Residence at Billilla historic mansion supported by Bayside
Council, and has a solo exhibition at Bargoonga Nganjin, North
Fitzroy Library between August–October.
